As a guest Chef for the 1st Inaugural Gingerbread House Competition, we were invited to dine at Calla Bella. It was a great experience! Typically, hotel restaurants are not impressive but this one is the exception to the rule.
The service from start to finish was exceptional and attentive. Our server, Bill, was professional and knowledgeable. He discussed our gluten free intolerance, and this is the only time I have been informed that EVERYTHING on the menu either is, or can be modified to be, gluten free! We started with a basket of gluten free breads and rolls at the table.
I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and it was as close as I’ve ever had to my own, traditional Bolognese. Excellent! My guest ordered the Diver Scallops and they were perfect.
Overall, this was an excellent experience and we enjoyed the evening very much. We will return any time we are near this great resort.
